CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Western Vista Credit Union recently obtained office space in the City Center Building located at 1920 Thomes Avenue, in downtown Cheyenne. This comes as a necessary move for expansion from the company which has seen exceptional growth over the last few years.

Back in the 1950s, the company’s headquarters was located in downtown Cheyenne on Capitol Avenue. Over the years, the company moved to Sparks drive in Cheyenne which had taken away their physical presence in the downtown area. To fill the need of more space for employee’s to continue providing their top tier service to customers. Western Vista landed space in the City Center Building to properly accommodate it’s employees and their customers.

President/CEO Steven Leafgreen noted their expansion comes from the subsequent growth of the company, “Our growth has been fairly steady for the last three years or so. Somewhere in that 20% growth year over year, so we have needed to add a significant number of new employees. Which in result requires more space.” Leafgreen adds, “It also feels good to be back downtown. To contribute to the growing downtown and west edge area, it feels good to be returning where we were headquartered in the 1950s and look forward to seeing continued growth.”

According to Mr. Leafgreen, the new office location is expected to be fully operational in May.
