NCSD graduating seniors can apply for scholarships from Casper Area Education Foundation

CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - For graduating high school seniors, it’s always stressful figuring out how to pay for the next step in their education. The Casper Area Education Foundation would like to help NCSD graduating seniors by offering them the opportunity to apply for a $2,000 scholarship.

The Casper Area Education Foundation Trustees Scholarship will be awarded to three students who have shown academic and personal growth throughout their high school journey. Winners may use the scholarship for any post-secondary training program, study abroad or formal higher education program.

Students must answer in three paragraphs how they’ve grown personally and academically while at NCSD, the vision for their future and if they hope to give back to a community. Two references are also required to apply.

NCSD Director of Public Relations Tanya Southerland said it’s exciting to watch students progress. “It’s always just exciting to be able to offer opportunities to help our students excel after graduation.”

Applications may be dropped off at Central Services Facility, 970 North Glenn Road, Casper, WY 82601 or emailed to The deadline to apply is March 22, 2021.
