Casper Chiropractor hopes to help families heal and meet health goals
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Computers are getting set up and other finishing touches are almost done at Empowered Chiropractic.
Dr. Erica Higgins, the owner, said she understands the human body is perfectly made. “Your body is made to handle different motions and different stresses that we put through it every day,” Higgins said. “A lot of times we experience pain or dysfunction because we do these things.”
Part of her job is helping different parts of the body communicate with each other. People might think of asking for help with lower back pain, but there could be more to it. “[They might have] digestive or reproductive issues. Chiropractic isn’t a cure for them,” Higgins said.
Part of her technique is using a tool called the integrator. “It allows me to be a lot more specific and accurate. It’s a lot faster than I could ever be with my hands,” Higgins said.
She’s qualified to adjust anyone in the family-- including expecting mothers. “We want to help them prepare for birth by adjusting them and allowing their body to function at its greatest capacity,” Higgins said.
She added she’s excited to help the community with its healing goals. They are hosting an open house for the community on Feb. 18 from 4 p.m.. to 6 p.m. She will officially start seeing patients on Feb. 22. They are located at 4120 Centennial Hills Blvd, Suite 100.
