Public Input Opportunity for Transportation Planning in the Casper Area Closing Soon

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Transportation is one of the key contributors to the Casper area quality of life and economic viability.

The Casper Area Metropolitan Planning Organization’s (MPO) mission is to engage the community in Casper, Mills, Bar Nunn, Evansville, and Natrona County on transportation planning projects.

On January 26, 2021. the MPO released an online meeting for the public to learn more about the MPO and its past, current, and future transportation planning projects. The self-guided online meeting, which should take about 15 minutes, is closing on February 19, 2021.

“We are currently in the process of updating our Public Participation Plan. Our online public meeting, available at, offers everyone an excellent opportunity to find out more about the MPO and to provide input on the best ways to engage with the community. We want to make sure we provide input opportunities that meet their communication needs,” said Jeremy Yates, Casper Area MPO Supervisor.
