Free Covid testing in Fremont County through Curative

FREMONT COUNTY, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

Free drive-thru Covid testing is being offered in Riverton through Curative. They say even if you don’t have a vehicle, you can be tested. It is oral test, and is not an antibody test. The Site Lead Test Specialist suggested not drinking, eating, or using tobacco for 20 minutes before the test.

It is located at the Fremont County Fairgrounds, and will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m now for about the next three months.

“Testing is absolutely free, it doesn’t cost anybody, we don’t need any insurance information. You just come in, if you’ve pre-registered, you can show us a picture ID, and we’ll get you right through. It takes about five seconds to do the test from start to finish and your results come back within 24-48 hours,” stated Lead Site Testing Specialist Shawnda Case.

You can pre-register at curative.com, or you can register in the drive through, either way, be sure to bring a photo identification. Officials noted they are not doing any vaccination clinics at this time.
