CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Five 4A football state champions signed their letters of intent to play college football on Wednesday, February 3.

Three of the Cheyenne East seniors will team up again and play at Black Hills State (Spearfish, SD).

One will play at Colorado State Pueblo (Pueblo, CO) and one will play at Chadron State (Chadron, NE).

Below is the name, future college, and a quote from the players talking about memories at East and what the school and team means to them:

Trey Bower, Black Hills State:

“I’ll definitely remember the state championship the most and just my teammates, I don’t think I’ll ever forget a single one of them. We just created such a good brotherhood.”

Adrian Hernandez, Black Hills State:

“It’s not a team, it’s a family. I think we’re all brothers and it’s just something special.”

Logan Kusler, Black Hills State:

“It’s kind of it’s own culture. It’s a family. You know that they have your back and you know you got their back.”

Julian Vigil, CSU Pueblo:

“I moved down here in freshman year and I just fit right right. Didn’t have problems about fitting in with the guys or coaches I just fit right in.”

Jackson Hesford, Chadron State:

“I’ve been a Thunderbird since I was a little kid. My dad coaches here and I’ve been coming up here since I was a little boy and it [just means the world to me] that I’ve had the opportunity to come to school here and have great coaches and to be able to learn from the best. The people down here have made me the person I am today.”
