FREMONT COUNTY, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

The Riverton City Council met last night, and had a proposal on the agenda to approve the Riverton Museum’s presentation to house some of the display spaces at the Central Wyoming Regional Airport in Riverton. The proposal passed, and the Riverton Museum hopes to draw people visiting Fremont county to learn more about its rich history. The featured items will be about the Air Force and Fremont county residents who served in that branch.

Riverton Museum Site Manager, Megan Ostrenga stated, “It’s going to be all about the Air Force and folks from the Air Force who were in Riverton. It’ll be mostly objects that they donated to us, as well as some signage for all three of our museums in the county to promote tourism throughout Riverton as well as the other two museums that are in Lander and in Dubois.”

The display will go up at the Central Wyoming Regional Airport in about two weeks.
