Free food event at Bar Nunn Firehouse
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - If you’re looking for a hot meal tomorrow evening, free food will be given out at the Bar Nunn firehouse on Thursday starting at 5 P.M. No questions will be asked.
The Here to Help Foundation of Wyoming will be handing out hot meals there with the Bar Nunn Baptist Church to anyone who would like a meal. It is one of the Here to Help Foundation of Wyoming’s “Neighbors feeding Neighbors” events.
The foundation serves communities across the state and is known for its open-box food pantries. Founder Richard Walker said he was told by a wise man if you want to make a friend to sit down and have a meal with them.
“I like to build long-lasting, strong, powerful relationships within our community,” said Walker. “I believe I can do that by feeding others and helping them.”
