Cold Temperatures to end the Week

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

The cold fronts have moved through the state bringing in cold temperatures and snow showers. These snow showers will continue tomorrow and even into Friday for some spots. Winter Storm Warnings, areas in pink, including Sierra Madre and the Snowy Mountains are under the warnings until Thursday at 11am. This area will see snow accumulations of 7-14 inches of snow into Thursday. Winter Weather Advisories are in effect, for the areas in purple, including Sheridan, western Laramie, Eastern Albany, and Carbon Counties until Thursday at 5am. This region will see between 1-4 inches until Thursday morning. Do not focus on the snow totals amounts to much as winds will be blowing causing blowing snow, resulting in reduced visibility.

Snow showers will lingering into Saturday when another cold front is expected to move through bringing in even colder temperatures. Wind chills over night Saturday will be below zero! Make sure to prepare before time.
