Snow will enter the western part of the state first starting in the very early morning hours tomorrow and spread east. Another band of moisture will be pushing southward into the state from Montana. Some areas will experience rain first because the cold air will not meet up with the moisture. Once the cold air sets in the state the rain will switch over to a wintry mix then snow showers. This will cause very messy conditions on the road ways. Winds will be ramping up as the cold front rolls through which will result in blowing snow and reduced visibility causing for another headache on the roadways.

Another arctic airmass will bring very frigid temperatures starting Saturday as high temperatures will be in the teens and overnight lows will be in the single and even negative digits!
