Central Bank and Trust Robbed Monday Afternoon

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - At approximately 1:30 p.m. Cheyenne Police responded to an emergency report of a bank robbery at Central Bank and Trust on East Lincolnway.

According to the Cheyenne Police Department, when officers arrived on scene, the suspect had already fled on foot with cash in hand. CPD also reports that this was not an armed robbery and no one was injured.

Since, officers have secured the bank and created a perimeter near the bank to look for the suspect. K-9 units have reportedly caught the suspect’s scent and at this time are searching for the suspect.

The suspect’s description is a white male of an average build (around 5′8 in height 160 pounds), with medium length brown hair. The suspect was seen wearing a white thermal, jeans, white shoes and a blue and white hat at the time of the robbery.
