CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Joshua’s Storehouse and Distribution Center is hosting its first virtual Valentine’s Day cooking class. Community members will get a basket with ingredients to make chicken parmesan and more.

The basket also comes with a choice of white or red wine, wine glasses and a movie to watch after dinner.

Kody Allen-Sambrano, the executive director, said Joshua’s is really focusing on fundraising this year and are having this so they can pay bills and buy food for people in the community who need it.

He adds this could be a way to celebrate at home. “I know money’s tight right now but if you have it instead of going out to dinner and risking exposure and having to deal with social distancing, mask-wearing and all of that,” Allen-Sambrano said. Consider just staying at home and taking a cooking lesson.”

People can get their Valentine’s Day basket by calling Joshua’s at (307) 265-0242 or sending them a Facebook message.
