CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

A very frigid night is on tap for the entire state of Wyoming as temperature plummet to the single and even negative digits. Wind chill values will be below zero for most of the state going into Tuesday. Add a couple of extra blankets to the bed tonight at frigid temperatures set in. Cheyenne bottoms out at 7 degrees with mostly cloudy skies and a few isolated snow showers overnight. Casper will bottom out at 9 degrees with cloudy skies and freezing temperatures! Make sure to bring all pets indoors and prepare your livestock for tonight’s freezing temperatures.

Tomorrow isolated snow showers are possible across the state as a small disturbance rolls through the area. The snow fall accumulations will not amount to much as only a dusting to an inch is possible. Tuesday high temperatures remain steady in the 20s across the state. The good news is warmer weather is on the way Wednesday-Friday with some areas reaching the 50s Friday. Another cold front will roll through cooling the temperatures back down by the start of the weekend.
