“That’s why we are this morning to share with you more personally what’s going on and how we are doing our best to get the vaccination out to the community,” CEO & President, Cheyenne Regional Health System, Tim Thornell said.

“We’ve had almost 300 people receive their second dose of the Phizer vaccine, but currently we haven’t had anybody with serious allergic reactions,” M.D., Emergency Department Medical Director, Cheyenne Regional Health System, Jessica Hughes said.

It’s the latest effort to speed up a slower-than-planned rollout.. as case numbers continue to climb.. overwhelming hospitals and medical workers.

Pfizer says it’s supporting the expanded distribution, and confident its production will keep up.

“We’re looking to get more vaccines in. We look forward to working with CRMC to vaccinate as many people as possible, whatever it takes to get everyone safe and vaccinated,” Director, Cheyenne VA Medical Center, Paul Roberts said.
