CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Thursday was a big day for a few student-athletes at Cheyenne East High School.

The T-Birds had a signing day, and three seniors put pen to paper in the school’s lobby.

Below are the students’ names, their future schools, and a quote from each after they made their commitments official.

Blaise Ronnau (Former Prep Athlete of the Week): Newman University (Wichita, KS), Wrestling

Blaise: “I’m ready to show off my skills, not only to people here in Wyoming, but also to other states, other platforms and especially my grandparents [who live near Newman U], because they’re a big part of my life.”

Trenton Rodriguez: Mount Marty University (Yankton, SD), Baseball

Trenton: “[Signing today] meant a lot knowing that I can finally focus on playing again and I know that I have a place to be, a place I’m expected to go.”

Ben Bohlmann: Mount Marty University (Yankton, SD), Baseball

Ben: “It feels nice knowing that I can just focus up here on my last senior part of baseball, and then going up there and just doing business.”

Congratulations to the signees and good luck at the next level!
