IMPACT Casper seeks applications for Casper Start-Up Challenge
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Casper Start-Up Challenge is in its fifth year, and it’s helped many businesses develop into successful companies.
Registration is open for this year’s Casper Start-Up Challenge, and the application is free. It also consists of only four simple questions.
IMPACT Casper Director Eric Schlidt said there’s no better time to start a business in Wyoming than the present, and IMPACT Casper would like to help whether the business is just an idea or already in the product development stage.
“We work with those companies take that idea, mold it, run through lean launch pad, business development, and then, they actually have the opportunity to pitch to some of our local judges for a $50,000 seed fund.”
IMPACT Casper’s role is to help founders work through any issues they may have, and the goal is to grow businesses to a point where they no longer need them.
Schlidt believes the Casper Start-Up Challenge is not just a way to give back to the community. “It’s helping people grow themselves,” said Schlidt. “We love being able to get them to become the best possible person they can and become the greatest entrepreneur.”
