CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - A couple of Lusk residents have been busy at home for the last couple of months. Melody and Gracie ZumBrunnen have made about 400 masks.

These masks have gone to police stations, community centers and hospitals. They’ve been making about a dozen a day and find it rewarding to help people in need.

“We got a lot of cards back saying thank you. That meant a lot,” Melody said. Gracie said they have sent some to Montana Colorado, Alaska and Washington.

They attend Wyoming Virtual academy and are glad their schedule allows them some time to give back.

“It’s been helpful to have a flexible schedule and be able to do school for a couple of hours and make masks for a couple of hours,” Melody said.

Gracie added she wears a mask to respect others.
