CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Carbon Power & Light, Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association and the Wyoming Rural Electric Association donated $30,000 to six fire departments that helped fight the Mullen fire. Each fire department will receive $5,000.
Tri-State spokesperson Mark Stutz referenced the cooperative principle of “concern for the community” as a reason for the donation. “The opportunity to give back to the community through this donation to the six fire departments certainly is something that has long been a cooperative principle and one that we were happy to continue in this particular case.”
