CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Another day of warmth for much of the Eastern and Central regions of the state as areas have hit lower 60s and mid to upper 50 degree temperatures this afternoon. However, the same cannot be said for the Western half of the state. From Jackson to Yellowstone and making its way to Lander and Rawlins. The cold front has brought in colder air and plenty of moisture to develop snow that is falling early this afternoon.

For the rest of the day, enjoy the sun and warmer air while we have it. By dinner time, temperatures will take a steep dive into freezing conditions bringing the wintry feel that has been absent the last couple of days. In addition, Central and Northern Wyoming will experience isolated snow showers through the night into early Wednesday morning. This combined with freezing temperatures, expect roads travel hazards on Wednesday that will interrupt your morning commute.

Temperatures look to rebound Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and any hopes of White Christmas in Cheyenne and Casper have vanished at this point so far.
