CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Snow showers have started in Worland and surrounding north east regions of Wyoming. Snow looks to be light in lower elevations and have a higher concentration on the mountain ranges from the North down to Southern Wyoming.

After the snow event accumulations don’t look to make much noise on the ground especially in SE Wyoming but monitoring the mountains as they look to see stronger accumulations over the course of Friday adding for more reasons to hit the slopes this weekend.

Friday after the snow tapers off. Clouds will clear out gradually throughout the afternoon. Giving way to more sunny skies in across Wyoming but temperatures will remain hovering the freezing line and dropping at night. Winds will pick up tomorrow night so bundle up and prepare for more strong Wyoming gusts heading into the weekend. As temperatures go up, so do the wind strength around the state mostly in SE Wyoming.
