Cold & Breezy Tuesday Night bring a windy Wednesday to much of Wyoming

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Temperatures will maintain the 20s and 10s Tuesday night. However, winds look to make it even colder tonight bringing wind chills to the 10s and single digits.

Wednesday will be a very windy day especially in the SE region of the state. winds will be sustaining 20+ mph winds with gusts reaching over 40 mph in Cheyenne, Wheatland, Laramie Rawlins as well. Prompting the High Wind Warning in effect until Wednesday evening for the respective counties.

Cody foothills are also under a high wind warning until 5 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Temperatures look to improve on Wednesday however, wind chills will keep tomorrow very cold. Later into the week, another system will move its way into Wyoming starting Thursday morning in Western Wyoming. From what we have tracked so far. This system looks to move its way across the state. reaching into Casper and could make impacts in SE Wyoming around Friday.
