CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Friday brought cold temperatures and snowy conditions to a few areas in the cowboy state. The snow has impacted our roads. Slippery and icy conditions are expected tonight and Saturday with frigid temperatures mixed in with the melted and fallen snow.

Saturday, expect another cold day with another wave of snow in some areas. Due to an upper-level trough disturbance and a low-pressure system coming from eastern Utah will be moving in another system that will bring more snow into the state. Mostly Southern and North Eastern Wyoming will be seeing the snow. The snow isn’t expected to come in until the afternoon hours and will be showering in Cheyenne that has the potential to accumulate but not a lot of confidence in true snow accumulations in the capital city.

This weekend is to be careful when driving around. It will be cold, it will be cloudy and, it will be VERY winter like in the cowboy state.
