CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

A cold front is heading for Wyoming with cold temperatures, windy conditions, and snow showers! Most of the snow showers will remain in the higher elevations and western part of Wyoming. However, snow showers will be widespread over the state starting tonight. They will move southeastward into the early morning hours and will continue into the afternoon hours. Right now models are hinting that Cheyenne will not see that much; however, we will be watching where those heavier bands of snow move because they will help exceed what the models are predicting.

Roads will be slick Tuesday morning as temperatures will be below freezing. Make sure to bundle up heading into Wednesday as temperatures will remain below freezing the entire day with low temperatures in the singe digits. Don’t let pets outside to long as frostbite can happen in minutes and make sure to put the blanket on the horses.
