CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - As one holiday in the books, another approaches. With hopes of finishing the year on a high note, small businesses are asking members of the community for support. The city of Cheyenne is having their Small Business Saturday to get residents to support small businesses by shopping local.

“It’s critical for us to support our small businesses,” Visit Cheyenne CEO, Domenic Bravo said. “They’re the backbone of our community. They had a rough go with it during the summer.”

Businesses are expected to have deals and discounts on their products and merchandise. With multiple small businesses suffering loss during the summer due to the pandemic, agencies hope this brings small businesses back on the rise.

“It keeps our businesses thriving, it keeps our community vibrant. It’s really important that folks get out and really experience the unique stuff we have to offer,” Bravo said.

Businesses look to enforce social distancing guidelines, regardless of the turnout.
