Mimi’s House raising money to expand services
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Mimi’s House is asking for the community’s help to raise money for a house for unaccompanied teen boys ages 16 to 19.
Chastidy Greenwood, the executive director, said they have a property picked out and need $45,000 to put a down payment on it.
They have raised $1,00 so far and are optimistic the community can help with the goal by the end of the year.
“It’s a huge campaign going on right now, and we need it in a very short time. I know our community can do it. I have one hundred percent faith in them,” Greenwood said.
She added the property they are looking at won’t need as many renovations as their current property for unaccompanied teen girls. Their program has been in the Casper community for over one year.
