CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Backwards Distilling Company produced hand sanitizer to fill a need. Now, they’re giving back to healthcare workers in the form of free booze.

With the help of a generous Casper community member, they started a tab for thirsty healthcare workers. The tasting room is currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but they are still offering drinks to go.

Mallory Pollock, a Backwards brand ambassador, said you that it’s more than just a cocktail to healthcare workers. “They come, and you can tell that they’ve just gotten off work. They’re still in their scrubs, and they’ve got their ID ready,” said Pollock.

“They’re just so absolutely wonderful. It’s nice to be able to see them and to thank them.”
