Wyoming Food for Thought Project seeking volunteers
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Wyoming Food for Thought Project is hoping for some community help to package thousands of meals for kids in the community.
Michele Heaphy, the program coordinator, said they need volunteers on Nov. 18 from two to five. During this time, they will be spaced six feet apart and will be wearing masks.
They will have 10 volunteers maximum per hour.
“We are hoping people sign up ahead of time rather than just show up so we can have appropriate [COVID-19] precautions in place,” Heaphy said.
They are also looking for volunteers on Nov. 19 to deliver them to schools and homes. If community members are interested, they can sign up here.
