Dry Conditions Ahead for the Weekend

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

Don’t forget your jacket this evening as temperatures will drop dramatically across the state. Temperatures will fall into the teens and 20s with some spots having single digits.

Tomorrow cooler temperatures will felt state wide thanks to the cold front that came through. Temperatures will not feel cooler until Thursday with this system. Saturday Cheyenne will top out at 49 degrees with mostly sunny skies. Casper will have breezy conditions with a high of 46 degrees with sunny skies.

Temperatures will remain in the 40s for most of the state through the weekend before warming up on Sunday into Monday. Temperatures will be closer to normal next week. Dry conditions will continue for this weekend. Monday the southeastern part of Wyoming could see some rain showers turn into snow overnight which could cause slick roads. Tuesday travelers could run into some hazardous travel conditions such as very windy conditions and slick spots in the southeastern part of Wyoming. Wednesday very windy conditions will continue and some interstates could shut down for light and high profile vehicles. By Wednesday night into Thursday morning a cold front will sweep through the state and will bring some moisture along with it. This system could cause headaches to travelers as well. It will also cool temperatures back to the 30s by Friday.
