CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The weekend had forceful winds for much of the cowboy state. It doesn’t look to end there as Monday is another episode and hopefully the finale to the strong winds that will be impacting mostly SE Wyoming. High Wind Warning is in effect until 5 a.m. for Albany, Laramie and Platte counties. With a Winter Weather Advisory in place for our friends in the west until 6 a.m. impacting, Fremont, Sublette, Teton and Lincoln counties.

For Monday, expect it to be windy throughout the morning and the afternoon. Winds will hit gusts of around 35 mph in Cheyenne. Stronger winds in Casper reaching near 45 mph gusts throughout the day. The good news is, temperatures will warm up into lower and mid 50s across the state. Plenty of sunshine which everyone loves and as we approach the night. Winds look to calm down quite a bit especially in southern regions leading for a very mild Tuesday and Wednesday as temperatures look to climb back into the 60 range, all before another cold front comes in next weekend. After Monday, enjoy the quiet weather while we have it!
