CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Shannon Watts has always had a passion for cars, and he grew up wanting to be an automobile engineer. He wanted to design cars, but math scared him away.

Now, he draws cars for a living. He creates drawings of cars that people commission him to do.

“The best part is it’s just something I love to do,” said Watts. “I love the art involved, the design of a car, especially the older cars.”

He was commissioned to do two cars from Jackson and Casper, and those two pieces are now available nationwide at Hobby Lobby stores. One is a Plymouth Road Runner, and the other is a vintage Corvette.

“It’s exciting to finally see my artwork in the store, and we’re excited to get this thing done,” said Watts. “We’ve got some more things in the works, so hopefully it’s a continuous thing now.”
