Old West Holiday
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - This upcoming holiday season- Visit Cheyenne, will be transforming the downtown area into a Christmas Wonderland ‘Old Western’ style.
The soon to be western winter wonderland will feature many holiday festivities for the whole family to enjoy. According to their website, “Santa’s favorite stops open to the public. Who knows.. you may run into the Big Guy himself! Visit the Pony Express stop to drop off your wish-lists, Santa’s Saloon and Stables and Mrs. Claus' Cookie Shop... even drop in on St. Nick at the Kringle Ranch and tell him exactly what you’d like for Christmas!”
Vice President of Visit Cheyenne Jim Walter is excited to bring the new unique theme to the city this holiday season. He says, “We’re really excited to do the Old West Holiday this year. Starting with downtown we will be lighting this place up in the middle of November like it has never been done before.”
The idea is a refresher for the city after much of this year being plagued by the COVID-19 Pandemic. Furthermore, Visit Cheyenne has brought this theme to make Downtown Cheyenne the place to be this holiday season.
Local shops and businesses will be partaking in the festivities as well. The theme works as an attraction for the city as organizations and the community work together in continuing the city’s mantra “Shop Locally”.
