Salvation Army Red Kettle Kicks off early this year with Operation: Rescue Christmas
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - It’s a little earlier than usual, however, the Salvation Army has pushed up the ringing of their kettle bells this year, with operation rescue Christmas. This operation is to ensure the organization can be a beacon of help and hope for those in need during the holidays.
According to their website, With unemployment rates expected to be between 10 to 11%, millions of parents will be looking for work come Christmastime. Based on the increased service we’ve already provided this year due to COVID-19, we could serve up to 155% more people this year with Christmas assistance assuming the resources are available. via Salvation Army Website
How can you help? By making a donation early, you’ll be offering help and hope to those who might otherwise not have a Christmas this year.
This includes helping place presents under the tree, putting food on the table, paying bills, and providing shelter for those without a home.

Those looking for extra cash can take up the opportunity of being a bell ringer this holiday season you can call at 307-634-2769 and ask for Jon-Marc or stop by 601 E 20th Street with a valid photo ID and social security card from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
