A non-profit insurance company available to Wyomingites
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Mountain Health CO-OP is a new health insurance company in Wyoming. They are a non-profit company and hope to focus on their member’s health.
“It’s a more focused approach because they’re the bosses and when you have that from the top down. I think that’s going to come back in better quality and raise the bar,” said Rich Wessenberg, a Wyoming sales executive.
Mountain CO-OP is funded by the affordable care act and has plans for individuals and groups and more.
Wyomingites can enroll until Dec. 15. Starting Jan. 1, members can get a variety of prescription drugs for no co-pay.
Wessenberg recommends this company for preventative can so people can live longer, fuller lives.
“The technology is advancing and can really help catch diseases early,” Wessenberg said. Mountain Health CO-OP is also located in Idaho and Montana.
