CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The weekend temperature provided Wyomingites with plenty of Fall like feels and gusty winds early Sunday. Now that we have approached the end of the weekend. Temperatures have dropped dramatically in several areas specifically Casper & Worland in the last 24 hours. Lows tonight across the board will be freezing in practically every city in the cowboy state.

Freezing temperatures are not all. However, light snowfall is expected to start late tonight impacting mostly the SE regions of Wyoming. Higher elevations and mountain ranges are expected to get the most in terms of snow totals. Whereas the city side of things in Cheyenne and Casper specifically, we will be seeing some light snowfall throughout Monday with temperatures that will send a chill down your spine. Snow accumulations don’t look to amount to much throughout lower elevations as this system doesn’t carry much moisture at all. Furthermore, expect it to be a chilly and decorative snowy day in the state for some areas. The snow looks to clear up around dinner time leaving behind frigid and mild conditions heading into the rest of the week.

In conclusion, bundle up and get ready for the start of the week to greet you with a taste of winter. Ready or not, Winter is coming.
