Wyoming Boxing Association to host first ever Lethwei title fight in North America

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - For the first time ever, a Lethwei title bout will be held in North America, which will happen in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The Wyoming Boxing Commission will host the event on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Outlaw Saloon off of South Greeley Highway.

The event will have 12-15 total matches that will include: boxing, kick boxing, mixed martial arts, muay thai, and lethwei. Lethwei champion, David Leduc will defend his belt against Cyrus Washington for the International World Lethwei title at open weight. The title will be decided only by TKO.

“It’s important to showcase our state, and it’s important to showcase that western sense of independence and how were willing to come and meet industry and bring people here,” President of Wyoming Boxing commission, Bryan Pedersen said.
