Reformation Dance Company brings Ballet back to Cheyenne
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Reformation Dance Company is re-banding during COVID by bring their new ballet ‘The Seven Deadly Sins’ to the city of Cheyenne.
After a several month hiatus, the group will be performing at the Lincoln Theatre on November 14th. Kathy Vreeland Director of Reformation Dance Company, mentioned that during the hiatus, members of the company questioned whether or not they would be returning to the stage. However, the dancers voiced their desire to perform and made the necessary changes in order to see the stage again. Kathy said, “Let’s not let this entire company fade away and go into the great blue yonder. We wanted to do a show and we wanted to do something for Cheyenne.”
Excitement was in the air for the group as they were rehearsing earlier this week. Vreeland said, “It feels great to be back, we’ve been in rehearsal since August we took a little hiatus because we just weren’t sure if we should perform or if we wanted to perform after not doing anything for so many months.” She adds, “But the overwhelming response from the dancers was to just let’s do this.”
