FREMONT COUNTY, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

Fremont County website showed their votes tallied just before 9 p.m. last night, and the race for the Wyoming House of Representatives for district 55 was a matter of only 32 votes. Libertarian Bethany Baldes ran against republican Ember Oakley. Oakley came out on top in the race, and shared her reaction, and her first order of business.

“I’m ecstatic, very honored and humbled by being elected to serve in the Wyoming House of Representatives for Wyoming’s House District 55. Campaigning is brutal at times, and I’m ready to put campaigning in the rear view mirror and begin focusing on the work of the state," mentioned Oakley.

Oakley said that first she’s going to look into and be assigned to committees, and will spend time digging into the current state of the budget to craft solutions that will be best for Wyoming moving forward.
