CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Sunday marked not only the day we gain an hour of sleep. However, it also marked a very strong performance of unseasonably warm weather across the cowboy state. upper 60s and 50s were felt across the state as southern winds pushed warmer air into our cities. Sunday was a great day aside from the fact that it was dark at 5:30 p.m. Expect that to be the theme for the remainder of our fall and into our winter months.

Now, looking ahead, expecting a dry streak to stay with us as a stout High pressure system has made camp over Wyoming, a trough system will also linger throughout Monday into Tuesday but the conditions will trend being more, dry and Wyobreezy. Monday looks to be in the 70s in Cheyenne and Casper and many other areas in the state. Election day will also continue the story of warm like weather, as we are anticipating 70s and upper 60s as well across the cowboy state.

Recommendations: get out and enjoy the warmth and sunshine while we have it, we all know how winters in Wyoming go, and this could all be gone in the snap of a finger everyone. But for now, we can keep those jackets in the closet until further notice.
