CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - No matter what happens during this week’s state quarterfinals, the days are numbered for football seniors.

This is their last chance to write their names in the history books and become champions.

“It brings me chills right now," Central Senior Brady Storebo said. "Playing with these guys for as long as I have that’s all we’ve really wanted, you know?”

Central (7-2) heads into the Wyoming state playoffs as the tournament’s two-seed and it’s clear the seniors are starting to reminisce with at most three football games left to play together.

“It means literally everything. There’s nothing I would rather do than be here and play out here with this boys,” Senior James Koenig said.

The Indians begin the quest for that title on Friday versus Kelly Wash.

The game begins at 6 p.m. at Riske Field.
