CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Halloween is a time for kids to dress up in their favorite costumes and stuff their goodie bags full of treats. Talia Park is spinning that to give back to a local organization that is special to her.

Poverty Resistance is a non-profit organization providing food and services to those in need in Casper. Park used to frequent them for food when she endured a serious hardship, and she now wants to give back as much as she took.

“I’m the kind of person that if I get given anything, you know I always feel like I have to give back. So I always wanted to give back to Poverty Resistance, but I didn’t know how to give back,” said Park.

Stuff The Train is her way of beginning to give back. It is a Halloween event inviting kids of all ages to ride a steam operated locomotive, enjoy Halloween decorations, and run around in their costumes. Attendees are also encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate to Poverty Resistance.

“I love kids, and I’m just so excited to see the smiles on all their faces and to see everybody having fun," said Park.

The event is from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M Halloween night on the corner of 13th and Ash in Casper. For more information about the event, check out the Facebook post about the event here.
