CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Friday’s game versus Natrona County (4-4) will be South’s (0-8) last of the season.

Needless to say it has been a frustrating year for the winless Bison but they are proof that football is about more than just wins and losses; it’s about family.

“I love them. I love working with them,” South Head Coach Dan Gallas said. "I love being a part of their lives. I want them to understand that they can always come to me if they need something. And I tell every senior that when they leave that it doesn’t matter what time of night. If you need me, you can call me. "

That feeling has trickled down to the players on the team, including the younger guys who just want to win so the senior class goes out with a victory.

“A win for the seniors that would be awesome," Junior Jeramiah Moyte said. "I know they’ve been wanting one and to leave without a win your final season of football would be difficult. So, to win this game would mean everything.”

The Bison’s last chance to get in the win column is Friday’s home kickoff versus the Mustangs at 6 p.m.
