Free pumpkin carving for kids-to be hosted by Carson’s Bar and Grill in Lander
LANDER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -
Carson’s Bar and Grill in Lander, formerly known as The Summit, is hosting a free autumn event for the kids. A pumpkin carving contest will be at the restaurant on Thursday, October 29th from 6 to 8 p.m. Carson’s Bar and Grill will provide the pumpkins and carving tools. There will also be complimentary cookies, hot chocolate, and prizes. This free event is for the public, and there is no need to purchase a meal to participate.
“My hope for the kids is that they see that we are doing community things and that they would want to come back, and everybody wants to eat and enjoy our establishment. [I hope] they want to return and they want to tell their friends to come and join us as well,” mentioned manager Melissa Fawson.
Carson’s Bar and Grill is under new ownership since it was the Summit, and they’ve expanded the menu, and put in a new bar. The coffee shop for specialty coffees is still open, and offering a delivery service. Take out, delivery, and curbside pickup are all available for the restaurant and coffee shop. The event is located in the sun room at the restaurant, located at 260 Grand View Drive in Lander.
