Current Natrona County early voting numbers higher than 2018
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Natrona County Clerk’s office was full of community members lined up to get their ballot or mail it off before the Nov. 2 deadline.
Tracy Good, the Natrona County clerk, said they’ve received 7,321 early votes so far. She added this is a large increase from the 2018 general election where they received 7,106 total early ballots.
She feels her office being busy at the beginning of the early voting period was unusual. Good and her staff has been seeing about 150 to 200 people a day.
Community members have until Nov. 3 at seven p.m. to mail off their ballot at the clerk’s office. Good added they will not be taken at polling locations. However, if you do visit the polls all locations will be open.
“You might expect some higher waits of coarse for a higher voter turnout which is common for a presidential election,” Good said.
The deadline for early voting is Nov. 2 at five p.m.
