Hold onto your hats Monday, strong winds will be blowing to start of the week in SE Wyoming

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The cold front that moved in brought strong winds coming from the west. Throughout Sunday, howling winds blew through the SE region of the state, Casper & Riverton also experienced strong winds throughout the day.

For Monday, High Wind Warning, Fire Weather Watch & Air Quality Warning are in place for through the afternoon with the Air Quality Warning looking to expire around noon. The High Wind Warning & Fire Weather Watch will expire at 6 p.m.

The new week will feel a lot like how fall should. Plenty of 60s with a couple days of low 70s and a mid-50 sliding into the forecast. Not a lot of activity is expected to be developing throughout the week aside from gusty winds making some noise Monday & Tuesday.
