CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Officials continue to alert communities impacted by the Mullen fire of pre-evacuation and evacuations in the area. The Albany County Sherrif’s Office Facebook page, the Mullen Fire Facebook page, and other agency websites continue to post information to try and inform the public about the fire that is now more than 175,000 acres (as of Sunday, October 11, 2020).

If you, or someone you know, lives in the areas that could be evacuated, there is advice on what to do to get ready to evacuate. Some things include making sure you have half a tank of gas in your vehicle. There’s also a recommendation to backup your insurance policies and other important documents and store the originals in a fireproof container.
