NUTmobile makes its way to Cheyenne

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - A nationally known truck in the NUTmobile has been making its way across the country, stopped in Cheyenne. It stopped at Meals on Wheels off South Greeley Highway. The 26-foot-long peanut on wheels made stops throughout the country, starting its journey in Wisconsin on the middle of July.

“Our main purpose on the road right now is to spread miles of smiles to whoever we encounter and whatever market we go to,” Peanutter, Tyler “Ty the nut drivin' guy” Towne said.

The NUTmoblie been around since 1935, serving the purpose to help organizations in need by donating peanuts and stickers to them. They also use this time to help deliver meals to people in need.

“Now more than ever would be important for us to deliver smiles across the country, and we think the timing couldn’t be any better for us to do this kind of stuff.”

They will be back at Meals on Wheels on Friday, October 9 from 10:00am-1:00pm, and will show up at Octoberfest located at 115 W 15th St on Saturday, October 10, from 2:00pm-6:00pm.
