Employee at Lebhart Elementary has tested positive for COVID-19.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (PRESS RELEASE) - Laramie County School District 1 strives to create an atmosphere that is safe for students, staff and parents. However, due to the unpredictable nature of COVID-19, exposure can happen.

The Cheyenne-Laramie County Health Department (CLCHD) has notified us that an employee at Lebhart Elementary has tested positive for COVID-19.

People within the school community who had direct interaction with this individual are at home while the CLCHD conducts contact tracing. They will receive guidance from CLCHD regarding next steps.

Parents are encouraged to watch students for possible symptoms and visit their health care provider if necessary. Free COVID-19 testing is available through the CLCHD
