CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Affordable Care Organization (ACO) is bringing the program called Aledade to Wyoming. It is a program that is currently across 30 states in the U.S. recruiting medical specialists and practitioners to become providers. The attention got to ACO through a paper on business modeling published by the director of Health Institute, Dr. Paul Washburn.

“In essence, it’s a preventive basis for all of healthcare which will curve the entire healthcare quagmire that we are in right now,” Washburn said.

He also believes that this program will not only help the health institute, but serve as an assistance to the business economy as well.

“A healthy workforce and a low-cost healthcare system will allow for rapid expansion for other economic sub-factors,” Washburn said.

The program is scheduled to start January 1, 2021.
