Most volleyball games at Cheyenne Duals canceled due to air quality concerns

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - On Saturday, September 26th, all three Cheyenne schools were scheduled to host the Cheyenne Duals. However, due to air quality concerns from the Mullen fire, all the 3:00pm games got canceled, and only two games were played at noon. Laramie’s volleyball team didn’t make the trip up to Cheyenne, leaving Cheyenne Central without games this day.

For Cheyenne East and Cheyenne South, they played their games at noon. No. 5 East hosted Evanston and won 2-0 (27-25, 25-19). The Bison fell to Rock Springs 2-0 (25-21, 25-20).

Central and East are scheduled to play each other on Tuesday, September 29, at 6:00pm at East High School. South is scheduled to take on top-ranked Laramie on the road on Tuesday, September 29, at 6:00pm.
