Visit Cheyenne Plans for event packed October
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - With things looking differently this year, Visit Cheyenne is still aiming for the capital city to be a greater tourism attraction.
“As much as we can try to drive economic impact and tourism through this time, we’re going to do the best we can,” CEO of Visit Cheyenne, Domenic Bravo said.
Visit Cheyenne still plans on having their annual October events, as well as adding new ones. Octoberfeast, also known as restaurant week, will happen from October 11-17, due to restaurant week being canceled in April 2020. There will also be socially distanced live music performances along with the annual trolley ghost tours. Even with different guidelines this year, Bravo believes the month of October will be fun for Cheyenne residents and tourist.
“Being able to serve our community at a local level, being able to support local businesses and also still being able to keep our brand out for travelers to come see all the great things we have to offer,” Bravo said.
Some of the Events:
· Octoberfeast (Restaurant Week): October 11-17
· Trolley Ghost Tours: October 16-24 (Fridays and Saturdays at 6:30pm)
· Daddy of the Malt Weekend: October 18 (1:00pm-5:00pm).
